One of Looe RNLI's biggest fund raisers and truly a highlight of the summer. In keeping with our seafaring tradition entrants construct "ocean going" rafts in all manner of guises, for the adults or childrens races. The contestants have to "paddle" the gauntlet of the crowds amassed on the peir and quaysides who are armed ready with seaweed jelly, made especially to protect the environment from plastic. No water ballons allowed here. Make a donation and fill your bucket.
From the beach, around the end of the pier to the bridge and back to The RNLI Station, many don't make it and are rescued along the way. Stay with us at Schooner Point Guest House and enjoy the day.
