Please note - during the Covid 19 outbreak we are currently taking payment only 14 days prior to arrival. This will revert back to our normal terms and conditions when the government gives the all clear. Please call us to discuss if necessary.

 

Prices:  The price includes overnight accommodation and breakfast. Unless clearly stated at the point of booking, any extra services required and provided may incur an additional cost.

We are not VAT registered; a receipt can be provided on request.

 

Deposit:  No deposit has been taken at time of booking. Card details are securely held in case of cancellation or no shows. Upon booking your card will be checked, if incorrect details are given new details will be required to secure the booking. Once you have completed your stay with us these card details will be destroyed.

 

Privacy Policy: The information we collect about you

When you make a booking with us we record the name, home address, email address and telephone number of the person making the booking. Wewill also collect a debit or credit card number.

 

How we use the information we hold on you

We use your home address as part of the card payment processing to validate the card. We will use your email address to send you confirmation of the booking with details on other information you may find useful for your stay. We may use your telephone number to contact you if you have not arrived during the check in window.

 

How is your data stored

All of the personal and debit/credit card data you supply us, as part of the online booking process, is stored securely on a third party system, Free to Book. Neither us nor Free to Book will share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason for doing so.  Once you have completed your stay with us, your Creditcard details are automatically deleted from the system. We do hold your other data for one year, a requirement by law. This information would only be passed to the authorities, on request.

 

Guest Registration

We are required by law to collect the following information on all our guests. We do this by asking you to complete a registration form on arrival. For commonwealth guests this includes your name and nationality. For non-commonwealth guests, your name, nationality, passport number, address of next destination.  We will keep these forms safely in a locked room. We are required to keep these registration forms for a year and show them to a police officer if they request to see them. We will destroy these forms 12 months after your stay.

Cookies

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log  information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. You can set your browser not to accept cookies. Cancellation:  A reservation forms a legal contract for the total cost of the booking. Cancellation is free of charge if notification is received  8 weeks prior to your holiday start date. If cancellation is received between 8 weeks and 30 days before the holiday start date the cost of the first night of any stay will be charged. If cancellation is received less than 14 days before the holiday start date full payment of the holiday cost will become due. We will endeavour to re-let the room in cases of cancellation. If the room is re-let then a refund of the let days will be refunded, minus a £15.00 administration fee. Full payment will be taken at the start of this 14 day period which will be non refundable unless rooms are re-let. In case of no show full payment is still liable, in all cases payment will be charged to your provided card. 

May we suggest that holiday insurance is purchased as with any holiday you would take abroad. Insurance is available from as little as £10.00 per couple per week.

 

Non-availability:  We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.

We would make every attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible or acceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

 

Arrival/Departure:  Unless otherwise arranged, check in is after 3pm but no later than 7pm on the arrival date agreed.

Notice of your anticipated arrival time would be appreciated. Should you arrive earlier than 3pm we will be happy to store your luggage whilst your room is made ready.

Latest check out is 11am on the date of departure. We are able to store luggage for later collection should you wish it, if we are able.

 

Damage:  Any damage or staining of the bed linen, carpets, furniture, soft furnishings and structure may be liable to a cleaning /repair charge or replacement. Payment for such damage will be taken from the card provided. This is at the discretion of the management.

 

Smoking: Smoking of Cigarettes, Electronic Cigarettes, Vapours and any other tobacco product will not be tolerated in the building. Anyone found to have smoked in the building will be asked to leave with immediate effect and no refund will be made. For legal reasons a room is not allowed to be re-let as a non smoking room for 48 hours after smoking has taken place,  in this instance in this instance a further 2 nights payment will be taken using the card details that you have provided.

 

Parking:  Use of the parking space is at the risk of the car owner - no liability is held by the proprietors. The parking bay does have a steep incline access which may be unsuitable for low cars and is best accessed in reverse from an angle and not direct on.

 

Pets:  We do not accept pets.

 

Children : We are an adult only establishment as we have no family rooms and  are unable to add extra beds into any of our rooms. Breeching these conditions will render your booking as invalid, however, no refund will be issued in such cases.
