Since the last blog we have had two separate guests stay with us, at Schooner Point Guest House, whilst on quests to catch Blue Fin Tuna. The Government has set up The CHART Scheme (Catch and Release Tagging) and a number of boats in Cornish waters have been given permission to operate under this scheme. Both guests were successful on their first outings with Nigel catching a 260lb+ fish and Roger with a 420lb+ both were on Looe boat Sowenna. More and more Blue Fin Tuna are being spotted in our waters and it will be interesting to see if this sport becomes a Looe success.
Mrs. B&B and I will be open for bookings until the 18th. If you have been to Looe during the run up to Christmas you will already be aware of the fabulous display that The Olde Salutation Inn puts on, if not make sure you check it out it is stunning.
