Mrs. B&B and I would like to send a very big thank you to all our guests and friends that have supported us through 2022, it is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to greeting friends new and old through the coming year.
We have enjoyed the company of Heidi and Peter before Christmas and Sue and PJ during Christmas, it really was a pleasure to be able to see all of them at this special time. It has to be said that Mrs. B&B excelled herself with her culinary efforts once again this year and as is customary new t shirts were supplied. One of which is todays shirt and is The Jams Funeral Pyre single cover, a great drum solo at the end of this track by Rick Buckler. We still have one visitor to look forward to seeing at the start of The New Year. Harry will be coming down from Wales to spend a few days with us and to continue the tradition of 2nd. Christmas, we can’t wait to see him.
In the meantime, we have Looe’s New Year festivities to look forward to and prepare for. Fancy dress costumes are almost complete and are in a broader Cornish theme than we usually do. I am sure Mrs. B&B will post pictures on our Instagram page after the event. Keep a look out for these. This year sees the return of both firework displays, sadly missed over the last two years.
We are already looking forward to 2023 and all the special events it will bring. This year sees the return of The Looe Lugger Regatta, a great spectacle for all. All the usual events will be back such as the raft race, duck race, Looe Carnival Week, Looe Live Music Festival and of course the next Christmas and New Year celebrations. We would love to welcome you to Schooner Point Guest House, so why not book now, while we have vacancies and don’t forget to book direct on our website, for the best prices.
