Well Christmas has been and gone, thank you to good friends in Swindon who invited us in for the festive season. It was much appreciated and gave us a different perspective of Christmas.
Back in Looe for New Year. Most pubs are closed to the public after 18.00 and the fireworks were cancelled some time ago, so the town was relatively quiet this year. It is a shame for the town but it was probably the right decision. We popped down at lunch time and then saw The New Year in at home in our B&B.
At this point I would like to thank all our guests who supported us through the uncertain times of 2021 and to extend an invitation for guests old and new to come visit us in 2022. We are looking forward to the new year and all it will bring. Hopefully all the usual events will return, such as The Looe Raft Race, The Lugger Regatta, Looe Carnival, Looe Live Festival and many more here and nearby. The South West Coast Path is still here along with many other beautiful scenic walkways. Cornish cream teas, the freshest fish & chips, pasties and ice cream all have to be eaten still. Boat trips to and from Looe Island, around the Looe Bay or to Polperro and beyond are to be experienced. If this is all too much, just spend sunny days relaxing on Looe Beach. We have it all, right on the door step of Schooner Point.
Finally, not forgetting my t shirts. New ones received this Christmas, thanks Mrs. B&B. Today I have chosen one of the new ones, a bright red one with a white image of my favourite drummer, Keith Moon.
Mrs. B&B and I would like to wish you all a very happy 2022 and would love to see you spend it with us. Don’t forget to book direct for best prices.
