The Carnival King & Queen are chosen and a traditional floral dance is performed at West Looe Square. Other events include a fun run, childrens sandcastle competion, fancy dress three legged race and both steel and brass bands. The Polperro Fishermans Choir perform at Looe RNLI Station and the week culminates in The Grand Carnival Procession, starting from West Looe across to East Looe beach and back along the quayside. Many charities benefit from the weeks events.
