Well, our man Boris has given the go ahead to re-open, as of July 4th. It is obviously the news we wanted but we are filled with trepidation as we know Corona Virus is still out there. We have done our risk assessment and this will affect how we operate, there will be some changes. However, all said and done, we will be ready to welcome our guests, not exactly with open arms as the hugs and kisses will have to wait for another day.
The deck is complete, planting done and furniture has arrived all ready for our guests. In light of the restrictions in place in the town, Mrs.B&B has decided to provide, for a small fee, Cornish afternoon teas or just cream tea if you prefer. We can also offer a beach picnic hamper or a rucksack picnic for your walk, don’t forget our normal packed lunches are still available as well.
Many of the wonderful Cornish attractions are opening up but don’t forget to contact them before going, as a lot have to be pre booked. We suggest putting some time in planning your trips, restaurants and maybe even the pubs. Don’t worry though, there are plenty of things to see and do without having to book. Spend some time on Bodmin Moor and visit the stone circles called The Hurlers before going onto Cheese Wring!!! Walk the coast path, Looe to Polperro is a favourite or checkout the beaches all around our wonderful coastline. Take a walk by the river at Golitha Falls, stroll around Kingsand & Cawsand perhaps going on to take in the grounds of Mount Edgecumbe. There really is so much to see and do, if unsure just ask and Mrs.B&B can send you on a merry jaunt, hopefully far from the madding crowds. Why not take one of our picnics with you, so no need to queue for food or drinks then!
Corona Virus or not, the on-going theme of band t-shirts remain and todays is a new one to the collection but a little less than current. A psychedelic design from Cream, no other than Disreali Gears.
