Cotehele House, a Tudor period property and ancestral home of the Edgecumbe family is run by the National Trust.  Near Saltash, so only a 30 minute drive from Schooner Point Guest House. Enter the great hall with its arms and armour. You can then continue around the house visiting bed chambers, the kitchen and chapel. Enjoy the formal terrace garden, the orchards or lose yourself in the valley garden.
